Sydney Brenner

(Physiology and Medicine Nobel Prize)

Every year The famous Nobel Prize is given to different people in different subjects. I have chosen to do a work

Sydney Brenner is a South African biologist and a 2002 Nobel prize in Physiology or Medicine laureate that work with his two colleague H. Robert Horvitz and John Sulston. Brenner was born in the small town of Germiston

Brenner made significant contributions to work on the genetic code, and other areas of molecular biology while working in the Medical Research Council Unit in Cambridge, England.

He established the roundworm Caenorhabditis elegans, that was the first multicellular organism to have its genome completely sequenced,  as a model organism for the investigation of developmental biology and founded the Molecular Sciences Institute in Berkeley, California, U.S..

Every year The famous Nobel Prize is given to different people in different subjects. In my opinion he won the Nobel Prize because he deserve it, he impel a lot the physiology and medicine but certainly the Molecular Science and the genetic. Also his two colleague deserve the Nobel Prize as much as Sydney Brenner did.
